After concepting the room for three different versions, I created guides for our outsourcers to follow as they created 3D models based off the concept.

From the initial design by one of the illustrators working on the project, I sketched out several ideas for the animations for this character. From there, I designated which parts I would need to accomplish the animation and created the texture atlas that would be used for the in-game asset for this character.

Created a generic rig texture atlas psd for all the flying animals (birds/bats). Each part of the atlas contains a smart object that also correlates 1 to 1 with a compiled image of the animal. This allows an artist to switch out any part and see exactly how it updates the overall design.
